If there’s one thing we can’t get enough of here at BOXNOIRE, it’s fur. We will confess, we are 100% obsessed. We’re not picky though, we’ll take just about anything – mongolian, rabbit, fox, mink…

As a way to profess our undying love of fur, we’ve decided to feature a brand that has influenced the industry since the early 1920’s. FENDI has become synonymous with Italian glamour and luxurious fashion. The brand is known to display garments that are rich, sensual and indulgent. Starting as a small family business in 1918, FENDI has come along way from its humble roots as a small leather goods shop in Rome. FENDI established itself as the best in the business (the fur business, that is) in the roaring 1920’s, and has since maintained that reputation.

So, we invite you to dream a little (and drool a lot) while pouring over these gorgeous furs from FENDI from the last decade. Eat your hearts out, fur lovers.

1. Zara Lace Skirt [ $59.00]
This is the time of year when we’re rushing to holiday parties and dinners almost every night. This lace skirt is so elegant and can be worn so many different ways so it will never look the same twice!

2. The Sartorialist Books [ $20.00 ea ]
We’re kind of obsessed with Scott Schuman here at BOXNOIRE. His feature books make a great decorative addition to any photography book collection. We can promise you, the photos are absolutely stunning.

3. Kenneth Jay Lane Earrings [ $77.00 ]
We couldn’t help but fall in love with these glitzy, yet still understated studs. They will glam up any outfit, without being too over the top. So go on, use them for a day at the office, or a night on the town.

4. Sequin Cami [ $98.00 ]
This top is one of our favorite steals this week. It has a vintage vibe with a modern twist and would look great with a pair of jeans or black-feathered skirt for a 1920s throwback.

5. Club Monaco [ $60.00 ]
This mirrored gold cuff adds a touch of simple luxe to any outfit. We suggest wearing it with a fab black silk jumpsuit and sky-high heels.

There are two things we absolutely love – shoes & social events. So we decided to mix the two together and see what we could come up with!

All three of us are very different – personality and style wise. So what are you? Modern Luxe, Urban Glam or Artsy Chic? What shoes would you rather rock at your next social event?

M is our modern luxe. She loves anything with an edge and the higher the better! Giuseppe Zanotti is her go-to pick for a show stopping party look.

P is our urban glam. She loves mixing classic styles with something a little bit unexpected. Yves Saint Laurent is both classic and fashion forward enough to suit her style.

K is our artsy chic. She loves anything unconventional and wants to make a statement. Nicholas Kirkwood is the perfect mix of style and innovation to suit her ever-changing tastes.

Item #2 on our stocking stuffer wish list is just as fabulous as the first – we would like a one year subscription to style.com. Style.com releases a magazine twice yearly, one for each season, filled with all manner of goodies and gorgeous photographs to fawn over. The spring 2013 issue has just been released and has everything from the top 10 shows of the season to the world’s most colourful stylist. This is one gift that we can promise will never disappoint.

DAY 2 Subscription to Style.com/Print [ $12.00 ]

Today’s most coveted stocking stuffer is a box of postcards comparing the beauty of two of our favourite cities, Paris and New York. We would prefer plane tickets in our stockings but this fantastic box of postcards will do for now.
